Properties: Guggul is well known ayurvedic herbal medicine for the treatment of vataj vikar (rhematism). Aam vat is a typical condition with symptoms like joint pain, swelling of joints, less appetite, constipation, indigestion. Brihat yogaraj guggul ( a classical combination of herbal drugs with purified guggul) is a famous formulation used for the treatment of such condition. Dashmool, deodar, chopchini, gulvel (in the form of sukshma churna) are added to Brihat yogaraj guggul and processed in Khalva Yantra with nirgudi (bhavana). This makes a wonderful combination of ayurvedic herbs to treat all types of vataj vikar. Arkarthro taken with Maharasnadi Kadha is definitely useful for all patients suffering from arthritis, rheumatism, joint pain etc.
